Keynotif is a privacy-first Android application that helps users manage and summarize notifications. We are committed to protecting your data through a local-first architecture, strict data minimization, and transparent processing.

By using Keynotif, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Keynotif requires access to device notifications to function. This may include:

• App names
• Notification titles and content
• Timestamps

Notification data is used strictly to:

• Filter important vs non-important notifications
• Generate summaries — including your morning digest
• Allow user-controlled filtering (ignored apps, VIP contacts, etc.)

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or behavioral tracking of any kind.

When AI summarization is used, your notification data is automatically sanitized before any processing occurs. Sensitive values are replaced with anonymous placeholders:

We minimize how long your data exists on any system:

• All data is stored locally on your device
• Generated summaries are deleted automatically — daily
• Raw notification data is deleted after 7 days

We do not maintain long-term user data, history logs, or cloud backups of your notifications.

We do not sell user data, share data with advertisers, or use third-party analytics services.

Any external processing — such as AI summarization — is limited to anonymized data only. Raw personal information is never included.

Keynotif requests only the permissions necessary for it to function. Here is what each permission does and why it's needed.

Keynotif may use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for delivering system messages.

• No notification content is sent via FCM
• No analytics tracking is enabled through FCM
• FCM is used strictly for system-level message delivery

We prioritize device-level security in every design decision:

• Data remains on-device by default
• No hidden data transmission occurs in the background
• All Android APIs used follow platform security guidelines

You have full control over your data at all times:

• Revoke notification access anytime via Android system settings → Notification access
• Clear all app data via Android settings → Apps → Keynotif → Clear data
• Uninstall the app to permanently remove all locally stored data

Keynotif is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect, store, or process data from children. If you believe a child has used the app, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in the app or applicable law. Updates will be reflected by revising the effective date at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this page from time to time. Continued use of Keynotif after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
